A new Review and more ways to read it

Copies of Review shown on tablet, mobile and in print
The July 2025 edition of Review is available for now for members paying into the defined benefit sections of the RPS.

We’d be grateful if could share this information with relevant members, and hope you find the newsletter useful yourself, as well.

The 8-page newsletter includes:

  • Why it’s so important for members to keep their pension details up to date and how they can do it in a few simple steps.
  • A message from the Trustee Chair, reflecting on the 200th anniversary of the modern railway and how members can get involved
  • A round-up of the latest pension news
  • A closer look at 3 points in a member’s pension journey – paying in; taking your benefits; and what happens to your pension when you die
  • A guide to saving more

You can see a copy on the Review newsletters page

Members can choose how they want to read it…

As a direct response to member feedback, this issue of Review has been given a more modern look, and is available to read in more ways than ever before.

Members can access Review online in 2 ways:

  • An interactive version – with a layout that adjusts to their screen size.
  • A PDF version – perfect for downloading and reading, or printing, offline.

Alternatively, members can choose to get a printed copy of Review by post.

If they’ve already opted in to postal copies, members should see Review coming through their letterbox soon. If not, and they would like to get Review by post in future, members can simply complete the form on the communication preferences page of the member website or call us on 0800 012 1117.

Getting Review by post does not stop a member from having an online account and they can check and update their communication preferences at any time by logging into myRPS and selecting ‘Communication preferences’ from the menu.

If members need a large-print version of Review, they can email format@railpen.com
