While the Million Step Team Challenge has been open for a few weeks, the charity is now making a final push for teams to join the ranks and support the Railway Family.

Early momentum is already building, with Teams, Amaro, Avanti West Coast, c2c, Freightliner, Ganymede, Heavy Haul Rail, Porterbrook, Railpen, RSSB and Winder Phillips officially signed up and ready to lead the charge.

The Mission: One Million Steps

Timed to coincide with National Walking Month, the challenge tasks teams of four with collectively reaching one million steps throughout the month of May. This averages out to approximately 8,000 steps per person, per day.

Every step logged and every pound raised provides a direct lifeline to those within the Railway Family during their time of need.
