More member webinars coming this autumn

We’re hoping you could help us spread the word of our upcoming webinars for members. We'll be running a few separate sessions for:

• Members of the Network Rail Section 
• Members of non-TOC and non-Network Rail Sections
• Members of the Industry-Wide Defined Contribution (IWDC) Section

By running separate sessions, we can make sure the information we give is as helpful and relevant as possible for members.

‘Get to know your pension’ webinar 

Members can join this webinar to learn more about the fundamentals of the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS), and the range of valuable benefits it provides. 

• We will also tell them more about: 
• Who contributes to their pension and how 
• How they can top-up their pension by making Additional Voluntary Contributions (BRASS)
• The options for taking their pension 

'Approaching retirement in the RPS’ webinar 

During this pre-retirement session, we’ll tell members more about the options they have for taking their pension and what the retirement process entails. 

They'll also learn more about: 

• When and how they can take their benefits 
• What they’ll get when they retire
• Tax on their pension
• What their loved ones might get when they die

How members can join us 

Members can join us by registering for their place via the Pension webinars page on their member website. They would need to select the webinar they want to attend from the list of webinars and to then follow the instructions. Once registered, they’ll receive a confirmation email with the joining link.
