RPS member webinars: free autumn sessions

Let your RPS members know they can now book onto the next round of free pension webinars.
By joining an expert-led webinar, Railways Pension Scheme (RPS) members will: 

  • get a clearer understanding of how their pension works 
  • learn about the benefits available to them as members 
  • find out ways they could boost their retirement income 
  • ask questions in a live Q&A 
Each session is delivered online, making it easy for your members to join from wherever they are. 

Get to know your pension  
A helpful introduction for members who want to get to grips with the basics. 

Sessions available for: 

  • members of Shared Cost Sections – 10am, 29 September 
  • members of the Network Rail Section – 12pm, 29 September 
  • members of the Industry Wide Defined Contribution Section – 2pm, 29 September
Pre- retirement  
Designed for members who are starting to think about taking their pension. 

Sessions available for: 

  • members of Defined Benefit Sections – 10am, 30 September 
  • members of the Industry-Wide Defined Contribution Section – 12pm, 30 September
Saving more for the future  
Focuses on ways members may be able to boost their retirement income, including Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs). 
 
This session is for defined benefit (DB) members and will take place at 2pm on 30 September. 

How members can join us 
Members can register for any of these free sessions through the Pension webinars page on their member website: railwayspensions.co.uk/webinars

They simply need to: 

  • Choose the webinar they want to attend from the list  
  • Follow the instructions to book their place  
  • Check and keep their confirmation email, which includes their joining link.
